The organization World of Threads has published an interview
about my work:
This site is worth looking at learn more about other international fiber artists!
“We all walk in shoes too small”
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
My costume SKIN which I made for the Wearable Art Show in NZ (WOW) has been selected for the Hong Kong Arts festival Jan 28-Feb 5 th where the WOW presents a unique 70 minutes event displaying 124 garments from the WOW collection .
The show is made up from the ” best of the best ” sections from recent award shows and will involve 50 NZ cast and crew as well as Hong Kong models and dancers.
Happy new year to you all.
This new blog will be a visual journey, to keep you more informed about my adventures in the felting world.
