Bloomfelt operates a colorful and spacious studio located in the Lower Laurentians, Quebec, Canada

About 1 hour from Montreal. Peaceful and quiet, surrounded by meadows and forest.

I offer workshops on the ancient art of felting.

Classes for small groups (2-4) are hosted in my studio.

Classes for larger groups (8-12) are also available at other locations.

Courses in felting, dyeing and SHIBORI techniques,

I offer classes in wet felting, dyeing and SHIBORI techniques for beginners and more experienced artists.

FELTING

Experiments with wet felting technique, different fibers, color effects and layering [stratification]

Wool Sculpting Techniques

Designing textures and relief with wool

NUNO felting, Felting for accessories and clothing

DYEING

Dyeing of animal fibers

Basic dyeing training with primary, secondary and tertiary colors

Dyeing techniques for special effects.

SHIBORI

Tying, tightening, wrapping, knotting and felting and dyeing techniques.

Possibilité d’adapter les cours de feutrage et de teinture à vos besoins personnels.

Location: Studio 42, 42 Rogers Street, Gore, Quebec

(Laurentians, 65 km north of Montreal)

Duration: 9 am – 5 pm

Languages: English, French, Dutch

PRICE (documentation is included for all courses.):

Private individual lesson: $300

Course for 2 people: $250/person

Classes for 3-4 people: $200/person

Hosting: $150 per night, 3 meals included

Additional costs for materials possible depending on the project.

Possibility of purchasing equipment, supplies, different wools or creations on site.
